Synopsis

In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, lands a high-profile job she is ill-suited for, with tectonic effects on her marriage and political future. Producers convince both the US and UK governments to allow them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the fledgling US Embassy (in Nine Elms), which opened in 2018.
