Based on the Chilean documentary "El Agente Topo"
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers a private investigator’s ad and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home.
I really liked it!
A remake of Agent Topo (2020).
What I was expecting was a comedy full of clichés about someone going undercover, his crazy antics and so on
Instead, we get a series about a man who not only helped others but also helped himself heal from the loss of his wife.
This great series wasn’t full of cheeky laughs and stubborn lines, I felt emotional in some parts because of the way it handled the themes – Like the resident with memory problems
While it wasn’t all that serious that made you feel down or bored watching the episodes, it was worth watching the series because you wanted to see how it was done – Who stole it, etc.
The acting was great, the filming & the locations are beautifully done
I really hope they do another season & it brings a great mix of laughs, emotions, script, location and cast, like they did in Charles’ next detective style adventures, like they did in this one.
