A modern-day tale of success in the world of the West Texas oil rig. Typically, a landowner’s job is to negotiate and negotiate contracts with landowners who own mineral rights, lease those rights to the company they represent, essentially managing the land and securing leases to drill for oil and gas. Like construction site foremen, they build roads, maintain worker housing (the men’s camp), set up excavators, and drill wells, especially in remote areas. They are also part fixer, part problem solver, and part helper. CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #44.24 (2022) This could have easily been an 8.5-9. Ex-wife/mother. They don’t fit the plot and just annoy and insult the women of West Texas. A far west Texas man. I understand where Sheridan is coming from, but it’s dangerous. The women of West Texas are some of the strongest and most ambitious women I know. Plus, the writing and acting are great. Sheridan could easily have another Yellowstone if she gets off the embarrassing interfamilial horns. But again, I like Sheridan’s writing (and acting) and for the most part, a very enjoyable performance.
