Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Fur” — there are 82 chapters in the book
Men and women live in a giant underground silo with a few rules that they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic and ruined world above ground. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping a dystopia, or making the world a better place, science fiction is all about these women.
Rotating this way doesn’t push or pull air
In various episodes, the floor fans rotate in the wrong direction relative to the orientation of the blades. Featured on WatchMojo: Binge Watch (2023) from the 10 Best TV Shows of 2023.
He’s attached to it, but fails miserably at it
The first two episodes were so good that they kept me glued to my seat, but from there they stopped moving the plot forward, jumping into these vague side stories that were supposed to connect you to a specific character and make it deeper. I feel like they don’t have a long enough plot, so they try to drag out episodes starting in season 1.
I’m not sure we can finish the season at this point, we’re one filler episode away from forgetting everything
You can get away with three filler episodes in a 15-20 episode season, but when you stick to a 10 episode plan per season, and half of that is eaten up by filler episodes, it gets boring. My wife went from “Oh my god, a new episode of Silo came out, let’s go, get the home theater ready, I’ll make the snacks” to “Hey Silo is out, do you want to watch?”.
Edit: The above review was written after episode 5 was over, my faith in the series is now restored after episode 7
