With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must forge an unlikely alliance

Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails team up against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they’ve faced before. Check out the actors behind some of your favorite animated films and series, including Keanu Reeves in Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

The film also draws narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993)

The filmmakers of the previous films have cited playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2001) and the standalone game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) for inspiration.
