A unique profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams
It took a year and a half to get permission to film the lavish dance sequence on Regent Street in London because it is owned by the British Royal Family. Two nights before filming was due to begin, after a week of rehearsals, Queen Elizabeth II died and filming had to be postponed. Everyone had to be compensated, including shop owners and crew, and the production insurance did not cover the loss of the monarch.

The producers had to raise additional funds to film the sequence, which was filmed five months later. I didn’t know what to expect from the film because I thought it would be weird to see Robbie as a monkey. Ultimately, the monkey adds a lot to the film.
This story will touch your heart
You fall in love with him right away, and within a few minutes, he IS Robbie. Jonno Davies, who plays Robbie, is a brilliant actor. Although you can’t see his face, he certainly knows how to portray him.
I have so much respect for him
It’s not just about Robbie the pop star, but also about his younger years. He dares to be so vulnerable in this film, with many stories about his personal life, career and the challenges he had to face. The music and visuals also add a lot to the film.
The film is a mix of laughter but definitely tears as well
At the end it left me speechless, with tears in my eyes but most of all PROUD of who he is today.
