Synopsis
On an empty road in the middle of the night, Shula stumbles upon the body of her uncle. As the funeral begins around them, she and her relatives uncover the buried secrets of their middle-class Zambian family, in director Rungan Nyoni’s surreal and vivid take on the lies we tell ourselves.
